Members bluesrock70's
I read on a review that if you install a 200 uF nonpolarized electrolytic cap in series with the speaker. It rolls off the lows in the bass and extreme lower guitar range without affecting the higher frequencies and protects the voice coil from over excursion and jumping out of the magnet gap, which is what farting really is. Has anybody tried this? I have a Kustom Tube12 amp and really like the 8" Celestion that's in it.
Members Phil051300
I havent tried it, but i sure have been impressed with the tones of those kustoms with the celestion. They sound extremely impressive. I'll pick one up eventually.
Members the russ
why not just cut the lows going into the amp? that doesn't require any soldering.

Members bluesrock70's
That will work. This only happens when I drive the amp to hi and most time with the Strat guitar that has SH-8 pu and the Dual Rail dist pu. I don't turn up the low tone it's down and high is@7.
