Members Spacetrucker
OK, I have determined my Squier '51 needs a slight tweak(loosening) of the truss rod, but I hear conflicting things about whether it's better to tweak it with the strings on and tuned to pitch or with the strings slackened. Is there a 'right' way?

Members Surfdude
If you are loosening the truss rod nut (creating more bow in the neck) then leave them strung to tension. If you are tightening, then the strings should be loosened first so you are not working against the tension. SURFY

Many thanks
