Members bikehorn
My desire for a 335 or similar hollowbody has been at an all time high lately. I can't get images of Clapton, Frampton, and Alvin Lee out of my head. Unfortunately, I can't really go out and get a real ES-335. Also, my preference in 335s leans towards the ones with Bigsby trems. I'm looking to get a Jay Turser JT-133 and adding a Bigsby B70 vibrato plus a roller bridge. I originally wanted an Ibanez AS73T but they don't make those anymore, and I have had ZERO luck over the past few months trying to track one down. Ibanez does still sell a tremolo equipped Artcore but it's a full-hollow model. I like it, but it would feed back too much for me to use exclusively. I thought about sticking the Bigsby on a non-tremolo Ibanez but then I don't really like the body shape as much as a real 335, and the JT is cheaper. How hard is it to attach one of these things? can't be too hard, right?
Members GuitarSlim101
I haven't put one on a 335-style guitar, but I have put one on a Les Paul and one on an old Airline. They are pretty easy to install. You just want to make sure you have them centered.
