Members Screaming Stone
Anyone have experience in getting music instrument insurance (besides using homeowners or renters polices)? Any recommended (or not recommended) companies?

Members Ronan Murphy
http://www.clarionins.com/ I have been using them for almost a decade but have never had to make a claim. The policy meets my needs. Its really important for people that use their gear and instruments professionally to have the right policy. Many renters or home owners policies do not cover business equipment.
Members Robert Rowe
Almost forgot .... One of the best (if not, the best) insurance is through AFM, the American Federation of Musicians. It's the union. I was a member, a looooong time ago (Local 40-543). I might get back with it. Really helped me in getting gigs. (I play more horn than guitar). Their music instrument insurance is the best. Full replacement value.
