Members Hoddy
An old band I was in back in the 80s and 90s is doing a reunion show...at rehearsal last night our other guitarist, Peter Stroud, showed up with his original 1956 Gibson Les Paul Custom...I showed him my Edwards and then I played around with his Les Paul for awhile....I didn't do any measurements, but to me the neck profiles were as close as you can get to being the same...nice chunkiness to them and the curve around the back of the neck felt identical in both of them. By the way...his '56 Custom is simply amazing.
Members Prages
I did a comparison between my Edwards P90 goldtop and my '98 Standard. I'm pretty sure my Gibson is a 60s neck carve, as I've definitely played some Gibsons with chunkier necks. Here are the measurements. The two feel VERY similar to me.
