Members Alanfc Posted January 5, 2008 Members Share Posted January 5, 2008 Heelllpp !! I can't get this dang pot mounting plate off. The one that the pots are mounted onto. (Les Paul)I'm just trying to change one pot. I removed all knobs and nuts/washers from all pots on the top. The thing moves a little, enough to move the shafts out only about a half inch.. What makes this so tight in there? I'm not forcing anything but I'm being gently firm about it. No wires are being stressed.Do I have to de-solder every connection ?
