Members bwalker
What are the avenues to release a single to be played on the air in the US???1) Contact radio stations directly? Will they take "unsolicited" material?2) Is there a "proven" company/professional that I could contract to do this type of stuff?3) I saw some website (radiosubmit.com). Does anyone have any knowledge/luck/success with this website, or others like it? A few facts:1) I am asking about Christian specifically, but I am curious about "all" genre's too. Is the process different?2) You may think that I'm a "hack musician" and I'm trying to "force" my crappy song on the air. I'm not. My buddy's song is and continues to be No#1 on the Canada Christian Chart. I'm just trying to help him crossover to the US market. So, I do know this it is "radio-friendly", just looking for the US avenues. Thanks,~BW~
Members pjrake
you need the backing of a label, unfortunately. maybe some college stations, or you can look at internet radio, but as far as mainstream radio goes, unless you're signed to a major label, stations will not bother. -PJ
