I have a Fender Custom Tele HH that came with an Air Norton in the neck and a Tone Zone in the bridge stock, and I'm considering swapping them for the EJs. I mostly prefer classic rock style tones, and I think those would get closer. Also, from the information from DiMarzio's page and reviews from Musicians' Friend and here at Harmony Central, it seems to have everything I'm looking for. From what I've read it has the clarity, treble, and openess of a single coil, but the thickness and warmth of a humbucker, and no 60-cycle hum. By the way, I'm not interested in it because some think it will sound like a Gretsch. I think DiMarzio unintentionally implied that in their product description. So what are everyone's opinion of it?
