Members leftyDave
Can anyone recommend me a place to get some lefty pots for my Epi ? I also want to change them on my Carvin DC 400 . I don't know why Carvin uses righty pots , it kinda screws me up when trying to adjust on the fly after pllaying different guitars with the lefty pots. Any help would be great
Members RifRandall
Pots are neither left nor right, it is the way you wire them up. There are three lugs on the pots. if you have wires connected to the left lug and the centre lug and you want the pot to work turning it the other way, move the left lug wire to the right lug and you're done. Depending on how your volume pot is wired it might be easier just to get a new pot and reverse the wiring on it as some makers like to bent the lug used for ground and solder it to the pot case. Members Procreatur
i dont think you can change them on the carvin if its attached to the preamp. its like that because they more than likely sell more righty's than lefty's, and its cheaper to make one part for thousands of guitars.
