Members dcooper830
I recently picked up a Marshall MG100HDFX 100 watt head and I'm getting pretty decent tone with it through my 1960AV cabinet! It will make a fine backup to my JCM 2000 DSL 100. One thing I found is..... the Overdrive channel sounds MUCH MUCH better with the Mid control all the way down.... and it still has plenty of mids. That's how I have it set in this video.
Members babguitargod
You know that you can make anything sound good . Your great a player. It makes me want to buy one. But everyone I talk to says it would be down grade to what I have even. I have a old Fender M80 head. It has great cleans but uncontrolable Distortion. They say these Marshalls like to over heat the Transformers and loose volume over time playing long jam sessons. Anyway good vid.

Anyway good vid. Thanks! Yeah.... I've heard some reliability horror stories about the MG Marshalls. And it does make me nervous about the one I have.... but it's just my backup. I'll keep my fingers crossed...
