If not, it makes the saddle more difficult to move, and either the saddle hasn't moved as much as the screw has, or the string may still be caught on the saddle which means the string hasn't "lengthened" as much as you think it has. Loosen the string a bunch, adjust the saddle, retune, then recheck the intonation. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
