Members Standard8 Posted February 17, 2008 Members Share Posted February 17, 2008 Man, I think these guys may even get a commission for getting your phone number and address at checkout "in order to look up your purchase for warranty purposes in the future" when all they really do is sell it to marketers who start sending you magazine offers and other {censored} in the mail that I am NOT interested in, and is a total waste of resources and {censored}ty for the environment. I know it's a tough business, and they've got to make money any way they can, and selling customer info to other marketers is a good way to do that, but it still pisses me off. I struggle with the concept of junk mail. On the one hand, it is free speech, on the other hand, it really annoys me and is a huge waste. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
