It' the recessed hex screw type, and looks like it would screw off and has clearance to come on out of the hole unlike my american strat. It needs to be lubed, but I'm a bit concerned about getting it off and out and not being able to get it threaded back on there. Anyone have a read on this model with regard to this ? Bad news is, that wasn't my problem, I overtightened, and it broke. So..... now to remove the fingerboard or replace the neck.....hmmm.... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
