Members jvhc
When using wah, should I always use it with a slight overdrive? Whenever I use it clean, especially at high volumes, I hardly have to tilt it and it starts sounding really harsh and trebley, so I have to be really careful. And then sometimes when it's tilted too far towards the bass it can't be heard. Why is this accenuated at high volumes? Whenever I use it with a slight overdrive, there seems to be much less chance of the above happening, and it sounds nicer.
Members book_of_lies777
I just listened to the song "She" on your myspace and the wah sounds just fine.
Members trill
Clean wah sounds can be awesome, just ask Curtis Mayfield. If your wah sounds {censored}ty at either end of the sweep, then that's probably because your wah isn't very good.
Members Help!I'maRock!
wah with clean is awesome. a wah is a bandpass filter. it only accentuates the frequency you tell it to. you may need to use it differently when playing clean, and set the rest of your tone controls differently. the distortion is compressing the signal and limiting the dynamic range. so there's a chance you're smoothing out some highs, especially if your dirt is a tubescreamer. Members Hanglow
I use my parapedal clean, but have to use a compressor after it. Sounds great then. Other wise it's with OD

Members Chunkytele
I use a VOX wah wah. It offers more control than my old Cry Baby.
