Members Karma1 Posted April 28, 2008 Members Share Posted April 28, 2008 I recently got a 69 Tele Thinline reissue (MIM) and am ready to upgrade the pickups. Anyone here have any experience with the Lace TN100? I'm not looking to preserve the traditional Tele twang, and would actually prefer a noiseless pickup with warmth, clarity, chime, and fullness. I plan to change the stock 1 meg pots to 250k. I bought one of these pickups today at Guitar Center and can return it in 30 days if I dont' install it. So just wanted to get some opinions before I drop it in there. I'll also be putting in a Seymour Duncan Little 59 in the bridge, for a fatter, less biting sound on rock leads.
