Members 311thewiser Posted May 22, 2008 Members Share Posted May 22, 2008 My dad took my recently purchased xaviere xv-500 in to the shop to get it set up with a bone nut, new tuners put on(tuners already purchased), and a new pickup selector switch put in. My dad took his agile in for a set up too and its on his way to work. So what do you think is reasonable for all that work? All I know is that the tech said its 40 bucks for the set up plus strings. Members docjeffrey Posted May 22, 2008 Members Share Posted May 22, 2008 Are you in the US? You have to figure about $80-90 per hour, so a setup takes about 30 minutes. Then the nut and tuners might take another 30 or so. I'm sure that it will be well worth it. Let us know how much everything sets you back and how the new Xaviere plays!
