Members prauny
I have this strat... Its a Squier strat, and i want to change the pickguard. I have looked on some sites and the ones that have similar screw placings are labeled USA or Standard MEX. Does this mean that i can get a standard Strat guard and fit it using the same screw holes? Anyone done it? Also, i cant seem to decide between Tortoise shell or black... hmm, choices.
Members rummy
Chances are, the holes won't line up pefectly, and you may have to drill a couple no matter which pickguard you buy.

OK, but to you (or anyone whos reading) does it look more like a standard?

Members snake eyes
If it's a squier standard the fender pickguards should fit exact. More recent squiers that is.

All it says on the headstock is Squier Strat by Fender. But it does look like the pickguard could be a very close match.

Members tumbleweeed
Id say its a gamble either way. But unless you want to change color I dont see a purpose. Relic this one with some cig burns, coffee grounds and a little blood and call it good.Ive actually had to angle a few screws to make them fit on even a supposed exact fit once or twice.
