Members Davgar97
There's this company: www.craft-supplies.co.uk/cgi-bin/psProdCat.cgi/Electric,2,,,The===Home===Of===Woodturning# Although at the moment they don't seem to have much choice when it comes to different types of wood. I've bought mahogany from them before so it might be worth checking there every now and again to see what's in stock if you can't find any other options.Theres also this company for hardware and other accessories http://www.wdmusic.co.uk/ They do pre-cut bodies as well but I'm guessing you want to cut your own. Members bartak101
Hey, I got mine through work, so not much help there. I believe we get all our soild stock from Timbmet http://www.timbmet.com/ but I'm not sure if they sell outside of industry. Also seen Touchstone mentioned in various places. http://www.touchstonetonewoods.co.uk/ Try to get quatersawn stock as it tends to be more stable, although the project i'm currently working on used ash that was straightcut but the grain was almost quartered (may have been commercial quatersawn). I've also used WDmusic for parts, good service, but a little more expensive than allparts, who have also been good. Got the some parts from Stewmac, but after customs it works out only a little cheaper.
