Anyone here have a 575? I was looking to get an archtop off of ebay. The serial number starts with F, which the Heritage website says was built in 1989!!!

How will the playability be on this guitar? Will the neck be smooth? How much is something like this worth?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I bought an H575 from Elderly Instruments about three years ago for $1300. It is from the nineties. I tried out several archtops in the store, practically everything under $3000. And the Heritage was not only the best sounding and playing archtop of the ones I tried but was the least expensive too.

All things considered, Heritage archtops feel more like old Gibsons than new Gibsons do. The only Gibson archtops I like more than Heritage were made in the fifties. They have nice sized necks and very nice jazz tones. If you can find one for $1500 or so get it. Though I can honestly recommend any Heritage archtop whether it is an Eagle, an H series, or a Sweet 16. They are all very good guitars.
