Members dill-james
so i bought an old Memphis guitar a while back but i cant seem to figure out alot about it. i belive the model is MC 100. it has some weird humbuckers in it with pots that are dipped in like on Dimarzio Super Distortion. but the bridge humbucker is a normal humbucker (i think someone pulled it off another guitar and put it on). any info would be great. Members tim gueguen
There's not much info out there unfortunately. They were an Asian import line in the late '70s-early '80s, but i've never read exactly who was behind them.

Members Special J
Asian plywood. Great for smashing. I had a Memphis SG copy that a friend gave me in high school. It was pretty much unplayable, so I went all Pete Townshend on it.
Members dill-james
i like mine. its got a neat sound. i had to lower the action, shine up the fretwires, clean the fingerboard, adjust the neck, and superglue one of the volume knobs. oh and take off the acoustic strings. but now it plays pretty good.
