Members AlexMC
I've gone and screwed my Strat's trem arm in too far, and over-compressed the spring at the bottom of the arm recess. Now it doesn't provide any counter-force against the arm (which has way too much play in it), and I'm having problems getting it out. Any suggestions? Members figfuggo
Don't be afraid to break the spring in the removal process; it's easy enough to replace. If you can't find a slender enough tool at home, take it in to a shop. Any tech can take care of this rather easily.
Members AlexMC
I've got plenty of spare springs... it's just wedged tight between the thread at the bottom of the hole! Can't seem to pry it out...
