Members rw34
Anyone know of something I could just pick up at a store that can be used to print guitar stickers. I want something that can be easily removed without leaving residue, rather han just using normal adhesive paper.
Members Alex_SF
Shelf paper maybe? I won't guarantee "no residue," but I think it's less likely to leave residue than regular sticker material. Not that I think putting stickers on guitars is a good idea in the first place, but hey, it's your own property, and at least you're trying to make it reversible. Members Monkeybot
Most decent hobby stores have water-slide decal paper (you might have to ask for it and it isn't cheap - It's the kind of thing that you'd use for models, etc.) that you can use with your printer. You'll also need a clear coat spray to seal the decal (before you slide it on yr guitar) - You can print and use them without it, but they won't last as long. Works pretty well. I have a hummingbird decal on the pick-guard of my Casino that's lasted maybe 5 years now. Looks really cool. Plus - If you decide that you want to take it off, it's pretty easy. I guess it's as permanent as you want it to be. Check it out - - - - - Ask someone at yr local hobby store for it, they'll know what yr looking for. Good luck.
