Members trill
So I've been practicing these Paul Gilbert string skipping things, and I'm noticing that when I really get things up to speed, the wound strings (especially E and A) are sounding these uggggly ghost notes along with the fundamental. This usually happens when I really hammer my fretting finger on the note, and it's almost as loud as the fundamental. 1. It's not my amp, I can hear it when I play unplugged (although my amp does pick it up and make it louder)2. It's not my technique, I just went to the guitar store and played four different guitars, none of which did this crap.3. My guitar is intonated and in tune.4. My wife noticed, so the ghosts aren't just in my head.5. Guitar is not from tree grown in Native American graveyard, there are no Native Americans in Korea. What to do?! Members DaleH
Is the guitar made from a tree grown in Korea or just made in Korea. Lower your pickups?
Members trill
Oh, that's a really good question. I'm not sure, it's an Agile, it's probably made from str8 Koreans. Pickups are at a moderate height, but it's worth a shot. Thanks.
