Members awhitefuneral Posted September 27, 2008 Members Share Posted September 27, 2008 Hey, i have a problem with the action on my fender tele?..I had a guy work on it and he filed the nut down a little too much and you can see where he hit the fretboard and left a nice little slit in it>>...:mad: ...so, he's not getting anymore of my stuff...but i think i'll have to get a new nut, but the saddles on the bridge are pretty low, and the screws are too high, and they hit my hand>...:mad::mad:and i still have too high of action, and the neck is straight, would a new nut help that at all?..thanks, Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Members awhitefuneral Posted September 28, 2008 Author Members Share Posted September 28, 2008 Yeah, well, i let our local guitar 'repair' man work on it, and he filed the nut down too much, you can see where he got sloppy and filed a nice slit into my fretboard>>>>>>>.........i'm pissed, but i can get a new nut and try that...i'm hoping that's the answer..
