Members Jimihendrix55
I have a Suhr Classic S (strat guitar) and recently i've been having some strange issues. Basically, some fo the strings, particularly the G and B, make this like "creaking" sounds (like creaky floorboards) when I bend them, or use the trem bar. If I play unplugged and listen, it SEEMS to be coming from the bridge, or maybe the trem claw, but its hard to tell since the "creak" resonates throughout the neck. When I listen close to the tuners on the headstock, it seems to come from there as well. Anything associated with the way I string the guitar?? Any ideas why? Members wagdog
Could be the strings creaking across the nut, string trees or the bridge saddles. Apply graphite and/or Vaseline to all of the above and see if it helps.
