Members inkblot Posted October 15, 2008 Members Share Posted October 15, 2008 Yep, if you get a DC resistance in the expected range for the pickup (could be anywhere from 5k to 15k+ ohms) it should be working, barring something strange like a dead magnet. Plug a short cable into the output jack, set the pickup selector on the guitar to the pickup you want to check, all guitar knobs on 10, and check the resistance from tip to sleeve of the other end of cable. If the pickup isn't working through an amp, you'll have to open up the electronics cavity and go straight to the pickup leads to measure. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
