Members rydia is hot Posted November 17, 2008 Members Share Posted November 17, 2008 i've never seen any guild like that. it looks more like one of the no-name japanese guitars from the 60s or 70s. i may be wrong, but the logo and what appears to be a bolt on neck seem to suggest it's not a real guild. Members mikeSF Posted November 17, 2008 Members Share Posted November 17, 2008 that looks just like a Univox to me. for fun, i flipped thru every page of the Guild Guitar Book and there is nothing remotely close in there. many things about the guitar are all wrong for a Guild. i am curious, the logo on the headstock, is it a sticker?? It's not a Guild body shape, Guild has never made a bolt-on neck semi-hollow, the headstock is completely wrong, etc. jerry_picker is correct - it is a 60s/70s Japanese made guitar.
