Members Picktrade
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'm wondering if a device exists which can do the following: a handheld device, like an ipod, where you can plug your guitar into it and play along with mp3's and be able to slow down, loop parts you want to learn, etc.. I need to learn a bunch of songs for a cover band.
Members cincy_cosmo
I use a Boss BR-600 for exactly that. A micro BR will work too.

Members cincy_cosmo
The Tascam units are OK for sure, but, the Boss BR's will do the work of the guitar trainer PLUS provide a rhythm guide to practice with, PLUS allow you to record tracks also...for the just a few more bucks. Does it have effects or is your sound always clean?
