Members Electric Monk
I know you can't. I just want to hear what everyone thinks of a few guitars... I already have a Highway One Tele with Texas Specials, which is why I kinda shy away from the Roadhouse strat. It seems like a good deal, it's $850 in very good condition, MIA a'course. But I already have a guitar with texas specials... American standard, duh. I'll probably go with this but tell me if I shouldn't. LPVM. I've heard stories. Members asatnutz
There are some great deals on Carvins with single coils right now. Check out ebay. There blowing out stock thru individual sellers. Calling them used guitars. Look now before there all gone, Keep an eye out if there isn't anything on there now that inspires you. They have been listing 5-6 daily.

Members RooSTER-b
The Les Paul VM is an amazing deal for the $$$. Great creamy sounding guitar. There are cheaper P-90 guitars that will get you amazing P-90 tone (eg. Reverend) and you can get a great Strat for consderably less money, but in my opinion, you are not going to get true Les Paul tone for what you'll pay for a VM.
