50th Anniversary Strat

did these come in black and with EMG pickups? Are they all USA models? Is there anything special about them or are they just a regualr strat with a 50th annivesary logo?

I have a black one, normal pickups. 1996 standard strat, sounds like the pu have been changed

Where's the 50th anniversary logo?

If it's just on the neckplate, it's proably been replaced.

AFAIK All the 50th Anniversary models were in 2-Tone Sunburst.

Strats don't usually come with EMG pups.

Hard to tell, but those pickups look like Lace Sensor PUPS. Which were standard on the Strat Plus line. Although I don't think the Strat Plus was still in production during the 50th anniversary of the Strat. They were present for Fenders 40th anniversary and had a cool little 40th emblem on the headstock.

Depends on what 50th anni you're talking about, that of the Strat in 2004, or that of Fender itself in 1996.

Yeah, thats it. It has A gold 50th anniv. sticker logo on back of headstock

 

Those are not original pickups. The only other strat issued with those kind of pu, i may be wrong, was that Iron Maiden Strat

There were 3 American 50th. Strats.

The Deluxe-std pickups-just has the 50th. neck plate

The American Std. 50th.- Had CS pickups made for this, 50th., guitar only.

Two tone burst, 50th. neckplate, satin neck.

Beautiful guitar.

One of the best Strats made.

The Masterbuilt 50th.-Same pickups as the American Std.-only Masterbuilt.

 

Some say that the 50th. American is the best made.

These just keep going up in value.

I got 2 for $800.00 each.

They are fantastic Strats.
