Members Rumble Bass
I still get string buzz on my low E string (Gibson SG) even after raising the action considerably. The action is too high for my comfort now, yet I still get buzz when fretting around the 12th fret. Do I likely need a truss rod adjustment? I don't get buzz on any other strings. Members avirox
I find there'll always be some buzz on the low E, but it depends on a lot of things. Number one is your picking style/how hard you pick. Also, like you said, it may need a truss rod adjustment. Take it to a tech and let them have a go at it m
Members benzem
Yes. Set the action to taste b4 truss rod adjustment. And change the strings
