Dunno if these have already been mentioned, but get thee a copy of

-Waiting For Columbus / Little Feat

-Roxy and Elsewhere / Frank Zappa

-Shadows and Light / Joni Mitchell

... a triple blast from the past to rearrange the ole' auditory grooves.

:)

Thin Lizzy - Live and Dangerous is a great album, but not even close to live, almost everything was redone in the studio.

You could say this about almost any live album...except for
Aerosmith Live Bootleg
There is no doubt that this is all them and all live....in a good way!

No, many live albums are actually live, some bands release entire shows without overdubs, and many others have minimal overdubbing. Live and Dangerous is another story altogether. From Wikipedia

"After they had decided which tracks they were going to use, Lynott asked if they could re-record some vocals due to technical issues. After spending some time overdubbing various bits, noticing the impact on the result, they ended up re-recording all the vocals, guitars and bass. So the only real live elements of Live and Dangerous are the drums and the audience. Visconti justified this by stating that every track was performed before a live audience. The exception being Southbound which was taken from a sound check onstage in Philadelphia"

Wikipedia is not the most reliable source, but I have hear producer Tony Visconti confirm this at a live show.
