Members monzablue
I swapped in some new pickups on my Epi Dot (haven't gotten the new electronics installed yet). In the process, I think I may have gotten the pickup ring for the neck pickup switched the wrong way. Can someone take a look and tell me if the thick end of the neck pup ring should be on the on the bridge side, with the thin side up by the neck? I put the thick side up by the neck, and it looks like my pickup is angled opposite the angle of the strings. . .

Members monzablue
Pic? Too tired to get a pic posted tonight, but I can see that my angle description is confusing as hell. When viewed from the side, my bridge pickup is parallel to the strings. The neck pickup is tilted, and it looks to me like it's because I got the thick side of the pickup ring up by the neck. I'm just wanted to confirm before removing strings and going back in. . .
Members Citizen Cain
Is it tilted in such a direction that flipping it around would make the tilt better, i.e., more parallel with the strings? If so, then just do it.

Members datru
just looked at mine. The tall side of each pick-up ring is on the bridge side.
Members cavpilot
the arch of the body goes from lowest at the bridge to highest at the neck, so your pup rings should have the thickest part towards the bridge side.
