I installed dimarzio evolutions on my ibanez rg320dxqm

It used to have dimarzio steve's special and air Norton pickups. I changed them to evolutions. I think they sound better. It sounds very clean with lots of midrange punch and output. I was expecting it to sound like my Ibanez jem which has evolutions too. they do sound the same. but the sound of a low priced Ibanez rg cannot sound like an expensive guitar. I think it has to do with your pick attack and how you grip the strings. i'd say the evolutions sound more solid and hard hitting than my jem. but that's just me. i'm sure you can make it sound like a jem if you change the way you pick and press the strings.
