Members PatrickF
Hello everyone, I recently started getting all of my rack stuff put together and I am searching for a little help. My rig goes:(Within a 6 Space SKB rack)Peavey Rock MasterTC Electronics G-MajorIbanez DM1000 Behringer FCB1010 Fender PA 100 head (used as power amp) My main problem is that when I start to get loud i get an uncontrollable amount of feedback, this may be due to my pickups (I use a cheap Kona guitar, but I like it, so don't hate), but I was wondering if I could get a Behringer Feedback Destroyer to fix this problem. I also plan on getting a power conditioner to power the whole situation, but that leaves me with one whole space, what should I throw in there? I am kinda an effects junkie (I used to run a pedalboard with the rack, but it was just too outta hand) so keep that in mind. But I am also really pleased with the G-Major, so I don't think that effects are too vital.I'll just leave this one to the pros. What do you guys think? Members tats_dragon
How about better pickups? Jun
Members El Grinder
+1 on the pickup swap as a possibility... Alternately, you could use a parametric EQ to fine tune your sound and possibly notch out offending feedback frequencies. The feedback destroyer sounds like a band-aid solution... not a good idea... Members rackq
If you want to use up 1 space, get a blank 1U panel and get something cool engraved on it. Or not.
