TC G Major

So... I'm am really interested in this unit but I'm wondering how people are hooking them up... are you running them through the FX loop? If so, how well do the pitch based effects work through the loop?

I use mine through the loop in my amp. I only use an octave up and/or down from the pitch effects. Those effects work fine, and I have a great blend of octaves in my sounds. It sounds pretty neat an octave down with no dry signal for my bass emulator also!

 

There's more options to the pitch effects, but if I want harmonies I have a Boss intelligent harmonizer.

G Major is designed to go in a serial FX loop.

The pitch effects work pretty good. The G Major II has intelligent pitch shifting, wish the original had it. Whammy effects is also good. Never tried a Whammy pedal so I can't compare.

great info guys!! I would like to know about compression through the loop... conventional wisdom says that's a no-no... but so would pitch shifting..
