Members pogo97
Moddart has just released another commercial add-on for Pianoteq. This time it's a pair of vibraphones (two "well-known" makes of vibes). 49 euros Here's a quick and somewhat unsteady early-morning demo of one of them: pennies
Members Irish Acts
Clearly they can produce top quality sounds as PianoTeq 3 it's better than any sample library on the planet. But why vibraphones next ? Surly there are other sounds that are more profitable for them. RegardsSharp.
Members evildragon
Because they were in the beta version too, if my memory serves me well, but were delayed to perfect the model. And they did it really well. I think vibes were asked for even since v2, but I'm not sure. Also, it is chromatic percussion, and as such it is perfectly suitable to be played on keys I wouldn't be surprised to have some more chromatic percussion (free) add-ons based on this new metallic bar model - marimba, glockenspiel, celesta, xylophone, etc. I'm actually still waiting for a clavinet+pianet model, that would be really awesome. Then we would have a keys all-rounder, with piano, rhodes, wurly, CP, clavi, harpsi. That would kick some major ass.
Members Dr.Wu
really shows the potential in the PIanoteq engine. The vibes sound sweet and you can get all kinds of cool mallet type sounds out of it from metallic to woody.Love it!
Members Irish Acts
Thanks guys. There's no doubting the quality, I just find odd that vibraphones where next on their list. I just can't see it being a sound that people where crying out for at all. Regards.Sharp.
