Extra special effects pedal manufacturer EarthQuaker Devices will release the Tune Job Quadraphonic Modulated Tuning Device on April 1, 2017.

Fifteen years in the making, the Tune Job is imagineered from the ground up using EarthQuaker Devices’ patented blend of sacred crystals, educated guesses, and olde-timey junk store VU meters to put you more or less in tune. Or at least close enough for Jazz.

EarthQuaker Devices’ president Jamie Stillman calls the Tune Job “[an] ‘always on’ tone and pitch enhancer, so your instrument is slathered in goopy tone . . . [with] a thick, drippy attack envelope for notes that are kind of in tune.”

The Tune Job boasts four inputs and outputs, each modulated by an independent pitch-shifting LFO, and a stunning +/- 420 cents of tuning accuracy, so “single notes will be sticky and phat and even dense chords will be moist and chewy, if not exactly in tune.”

The Tune Job Quadraphonic Modulated Tuning Device will probably be available at EarthQuaker Devices dealers worldwide on April 1, 2017.
