Three Amazing Hit Like Girl Champions Collaborate On One Incredible Drum Video.

Kalonica Nicx, Kanade Sato and Alexey Poblete, the under-18 champions from the three past Hit Like A Girl drumming contests, recently collaborated to create an exceptional and unique drum video that is now featured on the www.hitlikeagirlcontest.com website. Ranging in age from 10 to 12 and living in Indonesia, Japan and the US, the girls were selected as the top young female drummers in the world by professional drummers such as Sheila E, Jess Bowen, Didi Negron, Emmanuelle Caplette, Hannah Welton and others in 2015, 2014 and 2013.

At the conclusion of the contest this year the trio enlisted their parents’ support, contacted each other via the internet and organized the production on their own. Although they started the project for fun, after each drummer recorded their part and saw the individual performances edited together, they realized the video would also be a great way to help promote drumming to their peers.

“I just wanted to make friends with Alexey and Kanade and have fun playing drums together,” Nicx says. “Now we can share this video and make more friends and, maybe, more drummers, too.”
