Producer Freddy Fresh Releases His First Signature Sample Pack

MPC-Samples is incredibly proud to present the first signature sample pack from legendary MPC producer DJ Freddy Fresh.

‘Freddy Fresh Presents: Fresha Kits’ provides a unique insight into the production workflow of Freddy Fresh featuring an eclectic library of his favourite sounds and a complete multi-sequence project file of original beats and songs in MPC and Maschine format.

Freddy Fresh is a world renowned producer and DJ with a varied and unique style encompassing hip hop, breaks, big beat, electronica and funk. He’s also the author of the award winning reference bible for independent rap record releases, ‘Freddy Fresh Presents The Rap Records’.

“Fresha Kits features a cross section of samples that have been the staple of my ‘sound’ for my many years of diggin’ for beats and tweakin synths. “, explained Freddy. “Throughout over 35 years of DJing and producing all over the world there is one thing that never changes - my beloved MPC, which has been at the heart of my studio all this time and will never be absent.”

The ‘Fresha Kits’ sound library consists of 278 drum, percussion, bass, vocal and FX sounds in WAV format, organised into folders and suitable for any modern sampler or DAW, with all sounds also provided in legacy MPC SND format for compatibility with ‘classic’ MPCs such as the MPC3000 and MPC60.

The beat projects themselves contain ready-to-play drum kits and multitrack sequences in the following formats:

• • MPC Software Expansion – projects, sequences and programs suitable for all MPC Software controllers including the forthcoming MPC Live and MPC X (standard MPC Software ‘file browser’ version also included)
  • MPC1000/2500/5000/500 – projects, programs and sequences suitable for both Akai OS and JJOS

  • Maschine 2 Expansion – very faithful conversion of the original MPC projects using patterns, scenes and groups, created with the help of sound designers and all round groovebox experts, the Pad Pimps.
