I'm glad your not my parent. Are you raising sheep or individuals. The fact that you are trying to control them with money as a motivating factor is sad. If they came home with a boyfriend or girlfriend you didn't like did you offer them a car if they would stop dating them? I hope they take their inheritances and get sleeved up. Let your children be who they are going to be. Money doesn't buy happiness. I will support my children( and I have two) in any endeavor they choose. Above all I want them to be happy. End of story. That's what I was thinking. And it frightens me; especially when I see my friends around me having a quarterlife crisis when they realized they had the potential to become whoever they wanted to be but instead settled for that mediocre cubicle life day in and out.
