Hofner 12 string

I have an acoustic Hofner 12 sting from the early 70s. the guitar is in very good condition but has not been used in many years. I'm the original owner but no longer play.

 

Anybody have an idea what this guitar may be worth?

It's worth what somebody is prepared to pay for it.

 

Look in the local stores and see what a new guitar will cost for comparable workmansip, playability and tone, priece your guitar at around 50% of that cost and advertise it, that way its priced to sell if somebody actually comes and tries it.

 

At the end of the day its not worth a bean to you if you don't play it anymore.

There's one in a pawnshop near a friend's house for $150, if that's any help.

 

I'd try it on Ebay...might sell at a better price that way!
