Members chrisjnyc
Is it me, or have other people had issues with the Crybaby 535Q wah? I am on my 2nd one now... the first had bad switch. Now this one has a short and cuts out. It's a brand new one (9v)...
Members Arjae
I got one for X-Mas and have had no problems with mine. It is noisier than my Budda but it sounds great.
Members 4nkam
I've had mine since like 1998 and it still works perfectly fine MJ
Members IndofunkCity
No problems at all. Sounds like you got a couple of bad ones
Members blue77
I'm on my 2nd one also. My first one started to produce random "ebow noise" on some settings. The second one has some issues with the switch... I will never get the third one, that's for sure
Members orourke
I've had mine for about four years, it started cutting out. Only when I wasn't using it, just suddenly my whole rig would go silent for no apparent reason. Seeing that I use it in the front of my signal chain, and this would happen in the middle of a gig. I found (after figuring out it's the wah, I have a big pedalboard), that if I step on the wah for a second, the sound comes back. It also makes a weird pulsing sound sometimes. I can't deal with any of that crap at a gig, so I'm going wah-less except for jams or home recording sessions where it doesn't matter if it cuts out once and a while. I just don't feel like shelling out another $100+ bucks for this effect.
