In this case, I think you need to find some openness in the throat. Try vocalizing those lines using just the small 'u' or 'oo' vowel. That should help you create some release in the voice. Members highmtn Posted July 16, 2014 Members Share Posted July 16, 2014 You do need to open the throat more and sing on a tiny cushion of air, a constant flow of air. It's hard to start your onsets and have to keep initiating phonation at that pitch level. Keeping a flow going on the vowels and reducing or eliminating consonants helps to keep that flow going through the vocal tract. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
