Members stopthebus
I'm considering pressing my new album on vinyl. What companies are the most reputable? I obviously searched on Google and found a few, but I have no idea how reliable each one is, or what their prices are like. Also, does anyone know how the process of mastering is changed when you are sending it to be pressed onto vinyl? I feel like that would be different but I have no idea. Clueless here. These are the most well-known guys: http://www.rainborecords.com/ They're pretty pricey, though, but do quality work.

Wow - they don't even give price quotes on their price quote page - you have to contact them. And if you want an actual record cover you have to order 1000 minimum. Making records is expensive... just like it was in the 70's! LOL. That's progress. I'm kidding, I'm... no, I'm not. You'd have to be real damn sure you were going to sell the records to press up a thousand of them.
Members stopthebus
Yeah, that's the one thing that turned me off of Rainbo, the 1000 minimum for full-on covers.
