Members charlieg6
For only a few more bucks, the LS800P seems to be the way to go, except for the weight. What are any advantages of the LS700P? I guess I don't understand why they are priced so closely...
Members madjack
I would also like to see some discussion of this topic. I currently use the Pulse version of the 700p, the ps600p. I am quite happy with the pair I have. I get excellent bottom thump out of the electronic drums and bass guitar. Actually, they are a bit more than I need, as I am using a pair of EV sx200 cabs for the tops, and one of the PS600Ps would be plenty. I tried a pair of Pulse passive 18" subs, and a/b'd them against the 600p cabs, and the 18s didn't come close to the same bottom end. Anybody have any experience with the LS800P? Members cobrasound.com
We had a demo Yorkville LS800P for a little while and wrote up a quick and dirty review on it. Overall, we were really impressed and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this sub. It forms the perfect compliment for the bigger self-powered tops in the Yorkville line (IE the EF500P). Please feel free to ask me any questions that may not be answered in the review. Cobra Sound - Yorkville LS800P review and pictures Jeff
