Members mcc80
church is trying to decide between A&H GL2400-40 or a Mackie Onyx 4080. heard good things about both, but many haven't worked w/an A&H. Which one has better quality, both for function and service? Also, analog vs digital? thanks. mcc
Members bassred
It's up to personal preference, I'd go A&H, I just don't care to give Mackie my money, and I have yet to encounter an A&H board that developes problems as often/soon/severely as a Mackie... Members agedhorse
The 2400 I just installed made my customer very happy... probably one of the best boards in it's class.
Members preacherman672
Definately the A&H. Les
Members drumstix
A&H are great products, does the church have a budget? I ask only because the Yamaha LS9 boards are just too sweet! Think about having a great mix on the vocals and backup vocals, drums sounded hot, everything was at its best! No feedback too! Well, save and recall baby! Members bassred
LS9 is neato, kind of a toy, though when you look at Yamie's other digital offerings..... I've heard FOH guys say that they like the Mackie TT for a cheaper digital, I haven't worked with either if those two, so I'll leave my comment as a 'The pros told me' the PM5D we have gets a lot of complements, and we're getting some M7CL's... I'd love to get my hands on a Midas XL8 digital, but why get one of those when you could get a very nice house........ ($300,000 board)
