Members Moshaholic
I want to get a DUAL channel mic pre that gets the job done for guitar and vocals... looking at a Focusrite, DBX and ART stuff but know very little about mic preamps, etc... I want to get a good band for the buck and avoid getting stuck with a dud... want to stay well under a grand... 300-700 range... Also what about the DBX 386 or the focusrite twin strip??? http://www.fullcompass.com/product/251156.html One more thang... Has anybody tried out the Joe Meek stuff... Thanks xgx
Members agedhorse
WHY do you want a mic preamp? For live use? What about the mic preamps you already own inside your mixer? (you do have a mixer right?)
Members bigmike216
Don't bother. Put that $600 towards your next mixer.
