  • Alvin Lee, R.I.P.

While I was researching Gibson 335's tonight, and came across the news that Alvin Lee, of the group Ten Years After, passed away on March, 7th. at age 68.

Alvin Lee's performance of "I'm Goin' Home", at Woodstock '69, still ranks as one of the greatest rock performances I've ever seen.

    R.I.P. Alvin Lee.

Our bass player was in a group that opened for 10 YA back in the day. Got to meet the man, what a sad passing

Yeah, it is sad. He apparently went for a "routine surgical procedure", and died from "complications".
