Members loudsubz
I followed a few setup guides on here to set the gains on my drpa+. I initially followed the guide on the dbxpro forum but I kept hearing references that it would negate the whole function of the limiter, so I did some more research, but right now my red threshold light comes on very early with little input (-20) on input. My limiter works fine as I set it for 45 volts to my subs and I can't surpass that if I clip, and I never see any clipping on my amps but why would the threshold light come on so early? Members agedhorse
Check to see if by chance they have changed the threshold on the + version is referenced to full scale and not to plus 4 dBu
Members witesol
I think the comp is before the limiter. Are you driving it into the limiter hard? That can make the threshold light up, regardless of whether your input is seemingly within range
